I used to have a program that allowed me to see the Exif data via right-clicking on the image, then choosing View Exif. IFor example, if I came across an image online, I could right-click the image and a dialog appeared that would show the type of camera, f-stop, ISO, etc. used to make the image. Either I lost it or it quit working.... I've installed Irfanview but can't seem to get it to work on online images, only images on my computer. I'm not being nosy.... but I learned a lot from seeing this info for photos I really liked. Is there a better way?

Thanks.

I used to use an add on for Firefox called Exif Viewer. Obviously only works if people leave the Exif in their images. ;)

Two Firefox addons i use:

FxIF
Exify

Yes, I have those, but have yet to find a photo that allows me to see anything except "Unable to extract some or all of the EXIF data, which may have been removed from the image file." Not too helpful. Oh well...

Just as an aside, Google have now disabled all Chrome extensions that are not available through the Web Store. This is regardless of their source and whether you want/trust them. This doesn't apply to the one mentioned above as that is through the Web Store.

Apperently we can't be trusted to make our own decisions any more...
