Excel help needed

Am creating a spreadsheet and would like to have some preset entries for some columns. i.e. when entering a value in column a you can only enter yes or no. This prevent people entering yes, Yes, YES etc...

Can this be done?

you could put a drop down box in so they have to pick one of the values in the list...

Yes, it can using data validation

Have a look in the excel help bit and search for data validation, it's quite helpful

Sorry, I should have said, it won't combat the Yes YES, yes scenario but it will create the drop down box for them to select your specified formats

Ok, have done a list and it will only allow me to enter one of the values, but was hoping to get a little drop down arrow on the cell to allow met to select one, no type it.
