i think the maximum size is 160kb & 800 pixels along longest side for the forum. When you save for web or as jpeg set the quality setting to give you a file of <160kb. hope this helps,

I'm not familiar with that software but is there not an option somewhere, maybe when you resize the image, or 'save as' to see how big the resulting file will be?
Does the 160kb limit to photo size apply if you are linking to an external source e.g. Flickr or is that limit only for loading photos on the TPF gallery?
it applies to photos posted directly here, links to larger image sizes offsite are fine though a warning for very large ones would be handy for those still in the dark ages
Tricky if you want to know how big your file is, find it in 'my computer' right click it and choose properties. Can't help with CorelDraw though sorry.
