EX RAF 4 SQN Harrier Jump Jet Aircraft - for sale.

shame its not a real one!

I'm gonna buy it and put it on that Ark Royal ship thingy I bought a couple of months ago.......

It looks like the real thing, just wondering how they got it into some random field on a hill, rather than whatever airfield it has been sitting in.

They've just shown this on the news and photos of they got it in there. Apparently the chap selling it has sold seven aircraft so far!

From description it is a real one but just the fuselage/shell - no engine etc so not flyable - if it was you could pobably add couple of noughts to price!

Geoff

I'm surprised someone has bid on the thing!

Yea, I know that,,,,,,,,,,,,

Kind of worked that one out for myself..............

Strange that. I used to have a hanger full of aircraft with no engines and just the shell.
I could have sworn they were real..

Included a Harrier too, well the cockpit of one.

It is no longer in the guys front garden, where the photo's were taken from.

He's just a couple of miles from me. It used to be visible from the road but IIRC the police asked him to move it, apparently drivers were gawping as they drove past it and kept crashing into each other.

Is this in or near Queensbury? ......

Yes, on the right hand side of the road travelling towards Cullingworth, on the Keighley Road

Would buy it, but I'd have to listen to the wife again, rattling on about another useless gadget

you would all be surprised with what you can actually pick up if you have the money

perhaps sir is interested in a decommisioned NUCLEAR missile silo with hundreds of miles of underground tunnels and a bomb proof bunker? perfect for the holiday retreat or a nice secure place to live if ever there were a zombie outbreak

if you are having problems justifying why a missile silo isn't a suitable home below is a link explaining the uses for one, unfotunatly batcave isn't one of them

If you find that the missile silo is not enough to keep you satisfied, maybe you would be interested in buying an ex military aircraft carrier to take friends out on a fishing trip.

Removed from E bay now as breach of rules  was just on the news, had 8000 watchers and bids up to £94,000 already
