I don't understand where cyber crime and hacking come into it.

The guy didn't register a domain and a competitor snapped it up and made a prat out of them.

If thats right then i'm sure it happens every day all over the world.

Have I got this right:

Person 1: starts a publication
Person 2: registers a domain name that is similar to the name of this publication, and also happens to be related to a competitor.
Person 1: Moans about it publicly
Person 2: Laughs about it and then offers person 1 the domains for how much he paid.

I really am not sure I see the massive story here.

He was initially contacted after being found out but failed to reply. It was not until after he was publicly exposed in the online Newspaper and asked to transfer the website that he sent the reply you saw.

Not offering an opinion on that, just clarifying.

Ive deleted most of my first thread because ive just had the first hints that its not all as amusing as I thought It was, dont want to aggravate any thing that is'nt good. Sure you'l understand if you read the original thread. Sorry about that.
