Hi all,

I'm looking for insurance on 2 USED Nikon D300 bodies I purchased, mainly to cover me for accidental damage (ie. dropped the camera etc).

I've been looking at eversure, but wonder if anyone knows if they cover used camera bodies?

I purchased one through a camera shop (Camera Jungle) so I have a receipt for this. But another one I purchased from a classified through preloved, but I have a PayPal invoice stating "Nikon D300" as the item but obviously it is from a person and not a business. Will this be adequate?

Thanks guys,
- John.

I've used Domestic and General for years now and have never had any problems with them. I have tones insured with them from my cameras to my fridge. Last year when I smashed up my lens and LCD screen on my Olympus PEN camera I insured it with them and I didn't even have to wait for the first payment before they came out to have a look at it. The guy took it away and a week later it was ready for delivery back to me, as good as new. £6 a month it was for my Olympus, I can't remember how much it is for my Canon as I pay £30 a month for all sorts of items with them. They are worth a shout, I highly recommend them:thumbs:

Edit: you don't need any proof of purchase, they just ask how old the cameras are to make sure they are not covered under the manufacturers warranty. You could find a camera in the bin and still insure it with them.
