EVEREST ... nah - EVERWORST ... Double Glazing & Conservatories & Windows ?

I asked them to install a conservatory and ancillary products. Short part of the long saga is that I am in the process of suing them and they are avoiding everything. Have a schedule of works produced by their expert which says "Pull everything down and dump it!". Awaiting trial date.
 
Plenty of reports (by their expert as well as mine) and plenty of photos. They should be closed down. Write to your local Trading Standars, Planning and Building Department and your local consumer paper - they all help. Everest have ruined our house by structural damage and we have lived in a building site for 2 years - never an apology and told by their head chap in their legal department "you will not sue us we are a large corporation and you are just a p**** couple".
 
Looks like my ma & pa had a lucky escape.

We had Everest quote along with three other companies, however they were the first to quote and my dad was set on getting all three quotes.

The salesman was very aggressive and almost threatening in his plight to get them to sign there and then. He left accusing my dad of wasting his time, well I say left, my dad nearly had to throw him out. Needless to say when HQ rang a couple of months later wondering why they hadn't heard anything they got the full story and tried to bride us with money off. They were the most expensive quote anyway!!

Safestyle Uk aren't much to go by either. We never actually got a quote off them, the salesman's mother died twice. At least he gave the same excuse each time when he didn't show up to do the quote. That's got to be really unlucky!

Have you tried putting your comments on the consumer comparison sites.

Don't know if they all do it, but looked at doyoo and found some rants

Won't make amends for the rip-off, but at least it will spread the word :)

And it's quite cathartic, I had a bad experience with a supplier, it wasn't till they received a small claim summons that I received my refund.

So I reviewed their company on every comparison site I could find, just a copy and paste job on each one, it gave me a lot of satisfaction :)
