Ever felt sorry for someone.

Had similar happen this week.

Was on holiday for a week down devon and had my gear in a camera back pack thing instead of peli case.

Switched my lenses as quick as possible to take some snaps and then moved on...which was when I realised my 80-200 2.8 had fallen out of my unzipped bag.

Only damage seems to be to the lens hood so no major deal but even though insured I still had a moment of panic when I realised what happened.

For what it costs its definitely worth having insurance...even if its just for the pricier items that you own

I had a shoot on a beach and I was in the water with a 580ex and flex pocketwizard on a sandbagged stand and the stupid thing fell over. There was no wind and it was sandbagged but it still fell over. They were rusted to **** this morning as well.

Im insured but the hassle of going through them is head wrecking.
