Event Photography

Hi all,

I'm taking part as one of the photographers for an event in Cambridge on Saturday. It's a street based event with everything from street dancing to kick boxing to skateboarding demonstrations.

Apart from capturing the demonstrations, are there any good techniques for capturing crowds to make the shots look interesting? I would be great to capture the atmosphere from above and the hustle and bustle of the public.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Crowd shots - low angles, wide angle lens, silhouettes with the sky, panning, shoot on a long to make it look nice an busy (if necessary)

Find the highest spot you can.. I mean stupidly high.. so its like an arial view of the crowds.
