Hi, does anyone know the best way I can get my photos to show up immediately on my laptop when I'm taking photos please?

I'm doing a very small event with white backdrop photos and want people to be able to instantly view them so they have an idea of what they're getting. A long cable would be fine for the meantime, but in the long run maybe something wireless for if I do this kind of thing again.

I'm using Elinchrom D-Lites with the Skyport System, and a Nikon d5000.

Thanks in advance!

Eye-fi card if your Nikon takes SD cards...Router connected to laptop and then connect Eye-Fi card to the network.

There are a few software packages that will work for you. What software do you intend using ? Both to show images and then print ?

i dont know if the d5000 does it but my d5100 plugs into lightroom and allows pics to pop up on my laptop as soon as i take a pic

Cables may cause issues and need cable protectors (H&S issues - people tripping up etc), Eyefi card is ok (I've got one in my Nikon 1) but sometimes it doesn't work for no real reason and a reboot/switch on/off fixes it

Lesser of two evils :) Good Luck :)

I've heard about Eye-fi, wondered if was any good or not. Might give that a go. I use cs4, I've just got Lightroom but don't really know my way around it properly yet.
