Ive been asked by my parents to cover their 25th wedding anniversary party, basically walk around and take some candid and posed photographs for them.
This is the first evening event ive ever been asked to do and have never shot in a dark environment before so am a bit uncertain of settings to use.
I have a Nikon D90 and a selection of lenses top use from thosae listed in my signature. I think im probabaly going to opt to take my Nikkor 50mm f1.8 prime and my Sigma 24-135 f2.8-4.6 as my lenses for the night. I also have a Jessops 360AFDN flash to use, although im not that experienced using flash.
I was going to use both lenses at around f8 to ensure alot Is in focus and shoot at ISO 200-400 and 1/60th and above with my flash????
Could anyone give me some advice as to how to aproach the event and an indication of what to expect from a settings point of view.
Thanks in advance
