Hello TPF members,
I registered here a couple of weeks ago now, which is about the point that I got into photography. I've been considering getting into photography for the past year and not actually done anything about it; but due to the fact that I now have a fairly stable cashflow I decided to take the plunge and buy myself a dSLR - which is where TPF's fantastic 'Buy & Sell' forum came in.
I'm 18 and very keen on getting into this area; I'm mostly interested in concert photography and portraits (although nature photography appeals to me aswell).
I've already had a very warm welcome from the members here, and I hope to stay around and become a familiar face on these forums and quickly move away from my 'Newbie' status

. I hate posting in Introductory forums; it's like going to some sort of party and then standing up on a podium and reading your life story to a bunch of strangers 
. At least I'm not a total newbie at this point!
