Ethics question on game lodge

I understand hunting and I'm not naiive, I know it provides a huge amount of income.

The link I showed was for canned hunting. But plenty of wild animals are shot I just couldn't find a link on my phone.

But trophy hunting is very different as it looks for the best specimens rather than hunting the older or slower individuals. It reduces the health within the gene pool.

Also I despise the types of people that do this. They pay thousands to pull a trigger at a lion or elephant. These animals are already having a tough time staying on the planet as it is.

It needs governments on board to try and replace it with ecotourism and such as much as possible. You can only shoot so many lions before they are all gone. Whereas safaris etc provide longterm benefit. Don't forget trophy hunting combines with poaching on the reduction in numbers.

Well, it's either that, an expensive fast car, or admitting that you have a small willy.
