h'mm looks like my negative holder I had for my old darkroom enlarger.....it would be more useful as you had two adjusting screw to frame any size neg....well at least to MF size from memory.

Hmm . . . thanks for this Mark. That looks very promising. :)

Last year I picked up an Epson V550 so that I could scan all my old 35mm negatives from the 60s, 70s & 80s, but when I found out how long it takes (I have lots), I've been less than enthusiastic to get started.

I will probably invest in one of these and get rid of the scanner - it's only been used twice. (y)

Seems to a few of these hitting the market recently, I was a backer for the pixl-latr https://pixl-latr.com/ which I have been using regularly over the past few weeks. It does all film types from 110 up to 4x5 without buying any extra bits.

Works well at keeping the negs flat, much easier that my previous method of using the neg carrier from an Epson, and cheaper that the EFH

The 6x9 Image below was shot on a Coronet SuperFlash Box Camera, RAW file from a Nikon d5100 and pixl-latr, processed in Film Lab software

I found a review of this that has convinced me further, so I'm going to order one. Hopefully, this will encourage me to pull my finger out and get those old negatives digitised.

I can't help thinking it looks very expensive, for around £8 worth of laser cut acrylic and 4 nylon bolts/wingnuts, although the design looks easy to use.
