Well today I went over the border 3 miles away it’s the first time in 9 weeks I have been out of my home town , got quite hyped up about all the freedom those in England are currently enjoying , well here’s my view on my great escape ,first off I observed social distancing although others don’t seem to care , next the reports of birds seem over exaggerated hardly got anything , the traffic was fairly light but the bloody cyclists are now a total menace especially the ones in my age bracket wobbling all over the place .
The one beach I observed was packed to capacity , and my main moan gripe is it’s o.k letting all and sundry out for there alleged exercise ,but every single public toilet is closed ,and no cafes or pubs to pop into .. luckily I didn't need a crap :wave:

Seems crazy not to open public toilets.
Just know that some people will make alternative arrangements.
Equally important is its depriving people of hand washing facilities.
Might not be ideal, but the visitors are acting lawfully albeit not considerately

I went out today into England went out early with the camera to avoid too many people
Not really supposed to go out in Wales but I figured I live near the border and went somewhere quiet didn’t get near to anyone

I'm a bit puzzled by this. We live in Edinburgh, and I was under the impression that Scotland had a similarly strict lock down policy, but I'm not so sure now. It's been unusually dry and warm for this time of year, and the city is pretty quiet, so I've walked around and gone to a number of places that are normally busy. I've also taken quite a lot of photographs and no-one, including police officers, has taken any notice at all.

I see Dorset are going to open some car parks and public toilets for the bank holiday weekend
Sensible decision, people will be going there regardless of what is or isn't open

All the toilets are closed and you are wondering why everyone is on the beach. My guess would be that they are there so that when their bladders get full they are within easy reach of waist deep seawater. :D

you obviously dont know the coastline up here they would probably have to wade out half a mile or more to get water over there foibles :p:p:p

I have viewed the alleged photo of southend a few times mike a couple of minor points lead me to believe it could either be a stock photo or somewhere else entirely ,i.e not one single person is wearing a mask something I find nigh on impossible to believe under present circumstances ,and having looked at the full size pic I think I might phone the police ,looks like some thieving cockney t*** has nicked a mile and a quarter of pier during lockdown :beer::beer:
