Anyone wanna help me scan this lot :wideyed::D

Mammoth C-41 deving day today.....13 films;)

All look good except for one film that has come out completely blank!:( .......It was a test roll through the OM-1 which i know works fine BUT it had the new to me MC F/3.6 35-70mm lens mounted on it ......This is the lens that I picked up for peanuts recently in a car boot.
I'll have to dig it out and inspect it further along with how it functions with the camera back open as I am sure the film loaded ok and ran to the end of the spool.
No big deal if the lens turns out to be a dud, but it will be a shame as it was a nice piece of glass to use.:sulk:

I like the hangers! I've been using a bulldog clip with a large rubber band looped over the top rail and through, if you see what I mean... Tricky to get more than two films on one bulldog clip... :(

The Asda girl said she would scan up to 36 exp for £2.....I watched her scan my roll once and it took about 5 mins, mind you the exposure was similar on all frames so that might have helped.

If only i could scan a roll in 5 mins!......never mind good things come to those who wait so expect me to post some real good scans in about 6 months time!:D

The hangers with bulldog clips works a treat.

I didn't have enough clips today so had to resort with some clothes pegs.

The only problem i encounter is the bulldog clips rust!......i could do to search out some plastic ones.

Just to update on the blank film ( completely transparent except the leader)

I've mounted the 35-70 on thé om-1 and watched thé aperture and shutter opération with thé film door open......all is fine at différent speeds and apertures so i can only think that the film never wound on.
Will have to run a handful of frames through thé set up again to be sûre.

I have done this with a roll of film before, very annoying!

I'm hoping that is what bas happened as thé lens was a bargain and i rather like it!

Even if the lens stayed stopped right down, I would expect an image of some sort to appear.

I would check the body's winding on properly using the blank film with the back open. I'm also available to teach Grand Mère how to suck eggs!

Yes my thoughts exactly regarding the lens.... I might wap half a dozen frames off this afternoon and do a quick dev just so that i can remain satisfied that i did get a bargain piece of glass:D

As for Grand Mère...... I dunno about eggs, but she sûre makes some good jam......that's summat i doubt anyone could teach her :p

Cheers Brian,.....i actually have more than enough slrs to choose from and wasn't intending bringing the OM-1 as it accompannied me to england last time.

The OM2 interests me to have a play with to sée how it compares to thé OM1 as i get the impression that it's automated technology will make it feel a little like moving from the Nikon FM to the FE........if you want to lugg it along with a lens i'll wapp a film through it .....be aware though, if i like it too much it may return to a home much further south than London:D

Well I was going to bring RB67, T70 and T90.....but I could just bring the T70, T90 and OM2 with a Vivitar 24mm f2 which would gives lovely dreamy pictures of say the old church when WO...but beware my cameras have a cunning device that they explode, if away from me too long :D

You gotta come with MF..... You'll regret not doing so that leaves your l'une up of ........? RB 67 .........OM-2 ......and one of them T thingymajigs.:D

I'll be bringing my OM2 with 50/1.8 & 28/2.8, Yashica 635 and Nick's Mamiya Super 23 :0)

And does your Om2 have a self destruct if it finds itself hyjacked in my luggage? :D

Ah, that explains it. Mine wasn't from a bootie!

I almost forgot, if I can get hold of some Fuji FP100C before the meet I'll bring along my 'new' Polaroid Colorpack 80 that I modified today to shoot Fuji. Thanks for the camera gift @moomike ;0)

Sorted:- you can take a few shots with Steve's Om2 and I'll bring the RB, T70 and T90 with flash (in case it's a rotten dull day for indoor shots).

Great job Asha...you need a Pakon for this lot: takes about 10 minutes per roll, including loading/unloading the film, minor tweaks in software and exporting the files.
