Does anyone know Equipment Express of St Helens? They are offering a 3-year warranty and I wonder if anyone has any experience of their service.

Actually, their phone's been engaged for the last half an hour, so maybe that's my answer...
 
Er, I'm new here. Can anyone tell me why this thread has been "moved", and where to? If I've done something wrong I'd like to know so I don't do it again.

Oh, I see. Shopping, Suppliers and Bargains it is, then. Well, I've ordered my kit: spoke to Equipment Express, seem ok, assured all genuine UK stock. Pentax K-7, the two Weather Resistant lenses (18-55, 50-200), free 4GB card (well, it's free, come on!), free holdall, free delivery, THREE year warranty, £919.00, promised delivery Monday. If all genuine (no reason to suppose otherwise) this is a great deal. Even without the extended warranty, freebies, it's as good as you get in UK at the moment.

No, not Warrington, North Somerset.

If you don't hear from me again I'm either very happy with the deal, or dead.

Looking good, folks! Ordered Friday, arrived 11:30 am Monday. Everything present, all boxed, manuals, very competitive price, plus "free" Hama bag, mem card, little tripod and 3 years' warranty. Can't comment on the warranty, but everything else seems good, and friendly bit of email banter with the company. I was over-critical of their busy phone; they were just doing their job, I guess. If you're comparing prices and are happy to buy on-line they're definitely worth a look:
