Epson v600, good price I think. eBay.

Seller is a business& gives email address in the details so maybe can ask.

Tbh I have no idea ( without googling prices) if this is potentially a good deal or not as I have no use for such a scanner ........If I did then yes a quick message would answer my query.

At least the (possible) error has now been made aware to any potential purchaser as to receive a V550 in place of a V600 would not be amusing ;)

I never noticed that, good spot. I have taken the liberty of contacting the seller.

The company also has a V600 listed on their website, for the same price of £249.99. This time it has the correct images on it. I would assume it's just an error with the catalogue images they've used, probably by someone who thinks the printers look the same.

Never heard of the company myself, but they accept PayPal as payment so I guess it's just as safe to buy from their website.

Wow prices have increased as not so long ago you could pick up a new V550 for £150 (erm but don't know the different between the two)...and as I don't know how you are going to use the scanner but thought I would mention for 35mm places like filmdev would give you a better scan using their pro scanners.

Actually they have come down, a few months ago the V600 was nudging £300

Well have no idea how accurate this site is but the V600 has increased in price since last year...£230 last March:-

Usually its pretty accurate, but back in Jul-Nov of last year there was very short supply and most of the Camera Price Buster retailers were out of stock, I know this because its the time I decided to buy one! I struggled to find one for less than £280+delivery that was actually in stock, eventually buying from BMI @£255

As with many computer related items prices change due to supply and demand, try and buy a mid to top end GPU at the moment.
