Hi all

Can I ask who you buy Epson OEM photo papers from? Initially I am looking for max A4 though some smaller size(s) for initial setup tests on my due to receive ET-8550 might be useful ?

TIA for any pointers to who you may have found stocks them and provides good service :)

I sometimes get mine from Amazon otherwise my local computer shop sells is.

Premier Ink?

Thanks for the reply and pointer :)

Thank you.

Update ~ I made notes of the ones on Amazon and then as I had registered at Epson I had an email with their Spring Promotions ................looking through the papers, not all to buy online but I did find A4 Gloss and A4 Semi-gloss and with the 33% discount that is what I ordered. That will get me started in regard to initial tests and confirmation of settings etc

As one of my interests is printing short runs of greetings cards I have order form Paper Spectrum their sample to see which surface finish(es) I prefer and once decided I will likely get that/those choices of papers and use their custom profile service to ensure the best quality of print I can achieve :)

PS as for future Epson Papers I will keep shopping around and possibly settle on the likes of either a local source (computer shop?) or perhaps Premier Ink or other as suggestions arise ;) Once I am happy with my choice(s) of OEM papers I will get some A3+ sheets to print that size or get 2 off 12x8 out of the A3+ sheet.

For greetings cards, I use the cheapest stuff I can find and glue it onto pre-folded card blanks. My reasoning is that greetings cards are pretty ephemeral and by the time they start fading etc., they've been binned!

Any further updates on how you are getting on with your 8550 and also the Paper Spectrum cards etc.
I've still not bought a printer but may just get one tomorrow when I'm hoping to call in at Fotospeed who have them in stock but also sell all sorts of paper and cards, along with ICC profiles....
Thanks for any further help, everything you've told me has been very useful.
