Hi folks

Hope someone can tell me what I am doing wrong. I am printing roll paper 13'' by 38'' long I am letting Lightroom manage the printer, issue is after the image prints the paper continues being pushed through and I have to cancel print job.

Any thoughts please

Allan

When you say LR is set to manger the printer, it does not actually manage the printer, only the colours.
Are you sure you have the correct paper size setup in LR and have chosen the correct paper in the printer driver?

Thanks Elliott

First off i admit i thought LR also managed the size so thanks for the clarification.

What i did was a few months ago i had the 1500w and i set up my driver for the said 38'' print, when i got my new printer the size called large pano was still available in my paper and layout box so i have continued using that. Do you think maybe while the size L Pano is still available in the epson driver it does not work as my 1500w was a sheet fed machine so at 38'' the paper ran out.

I could just do a new custom but would like to understand as i have several sizes set up and none stop at the end

Cheers

Allan

I have this printer but must admit I've not printed a pano on it yet so not really played around with pano paper sizes.

I would try and setup a new paper size in the printer driver as the old may not work correctly with the new printer, or different driver.

Thank you i will give that a go i am waiting for some more roll paper so may be a while, the printer does a really good job with Pano i really like mine

Many thanks for your help the great thing about groups is we learn most days something new :ty:

When I was printing a Pano from roll paper (on Epson, but not yours) I had to set a specific paper size in the printer properties, then enter that paper into the LR page setup.

The print module should display the sheet as one single piece of paper. If you've got the paper size tooltip showing you can see the dpi too.

Thank you Ian, I do get the dpi in LR and the pano does print correctly it's only it forgets too stop once I get more roll paper I will try deleting my custom size and try again, it's possible I guess that once os Mac is launched and a Adobe cc update the issue may be resolved if not I will just rewind the excess paper :)
