Regrets! I have a few..........today I feel I have turned a corner in my life's travel.....throughout my life I have confronted, debated, condoned, condemned, embraced and loved .......I may have lost my way over the last number of years, months and days not to mention the hours that have past but I now feel that I am now ready to embrace the human race and our society.

This is not religious preach but more a human to human embrace.........life is a funny old thing..............

Some people on TP I worry about more than others :D
Today Archie, you are one of those people :D

But I get the impression you are feeling good about yourself so

Interesting.

I empathise.
Sort of know where you're coming from. Glad you're In a happy place. People will test you. An open heart and an open mind will see you through.

I'm working on it.

'Nuff said.

Yep I guess that would probably p*** me off a bit too :(

I've had a few epiphanies over the years, but usually just need a good nap to get over them.

I don't even need to do that, a coffee usually sorts it :D

I must admit, I had some on the IoM many years ago,
first time I had tasted it.
And it wasn't half bad.
A few years later, back in England, I tried it again,
for the second and last time.
So you may have a very valid point ;)

Whisky is the stuff they drink in Scotland..

Whiskey is the Irish golden liquor of the Gods.....

I'm going to keep them as little pets, they can speak to me and give me a little Irish accent fix:D

Another gag!

I could send you a CD with my voice for only £9.99 or the whole box set for £49 :D

The stuff sold in England is brewed in Ireland since the Park Royal site in London was closed and demolished in 2006/7.

Have to agree it tastes better in Ireland but the bars care for the barrels and taps and, allied to big sales, it tends to be fresher in Ireland. (I am in Dublin at the moment so have enjoyed a few pints of the black stuff)

There are a few bars in England that draw a good pint but many do not treat it with respect.

A couple of bars over here had separate taps that poured a ready mixed Guinness and Blackcurrent but the 2 bars I have visited since arriving are free of this travesty.

I recently watched a number of bar people pulling Guinness pints straight into the glass up to the top....no rest period what so ever and the punters were drinking it whilst it read still settling..

I asked the head barman could I pull the pint and I done so correctly and finished it off with a shamrock engraved in the froth.....they offered me a job....:D

Whiskey tastes like a peat bog. (Not Pete's bog  )

Well its a job!

I loved it when I worked in Dublin back in the Celtic Tiger days

The bar staff started pouring about 10 minutes before the noon rush and so when we got in the door, all they had to do was top and serve

First one was always a quick one leaving just 3 rings on the glass but the second was relished and supped slowly... well 6 rings.....

Ok, so now we've all had a bracing tipple .... I was just wondering what it was that caused this epiphany Archangel? Whatever it was, I'm glad you're feeling good about life. Onwards and upwards and keep smiling.

There were a couple if moments in the last week that have directly affected me and my family.....mostly positive but with a few negatives which we have had to take control off and use that information to look at the possible positive results.....

As a result I am looking at life with new vision
