Please can anyone tell me, if they use EOS shopping cart with CS4?

If so, do you have a positive experience with it?

Are there any other payment templates, that will work with CS4, which only require a one off purchase price? In other words, I don't want to use a site that requires a monthly fee, or a fee per photograph sold.

The whole point of the project, is to integrate a shopping cart into my present site.

Thanks everyone.

I cannot comment on EOS shopping cart as I have never used it or heard of it!

I have a lot of experience in using Gallery (just search for gallery on google). It is perfect for photo ordering and its free:

- Batch upload images
- Automatic watermarking
- Password protect albums
- Set prices and discounts (such as spend £100 get a free print)
- Links up with Paypal and other payment processors
- Easliy integrates with an existing site

Loads more functionality, is very easy to integrate also. If you PM me I will email you my sites I use it on, would never use any other software.

I use EOS template using Jalbum to create it. Never tried directly from photoshop.

Its a bit clunky and there are better options now. The developer has stopped further development.

Look at Photocart instead.

I've used EOS Template for years but only with no issues but I use BreezeBrowser to generate the galleries. The problem with EOS is it is nolonger being developed so any issues arising with newer versions of the software needed to generate the EOS galleries may not have a fix.

TBH this is not the place to ask this question you should post on the Yahoo Group support forum where you should get all the tech support you need.

Photocart is good but does not have any functionality that Gallery doesn't and Gallery is free!

I see that this thread is 15 years old so don't know if I can restart it. I used to use EOS template with JAlbum. But a while ago it stopped working with jAlbum or Breezebrowser. I also had a problem with the eosmail system that sent the email with the order. I remember a lot of photographers used it back in the day for integrating a shoping cart into their website.

A couple of years back I randomly got in touch with a guy in the US that said he had modified it to become mobile friendly and was using it for his wife's phoyography busness and it was very successful and still uses

Unfortunately, he is now 90 years old and beginning to forget things so I was left high and dry. Yahoo Groups is now also no more.

Can @tpd please tell me if Gallery that he mentions above is still available as I can't find it with a Google search. I know there are now online photocart options but I don't really want to have to pay a monthly subscription or a huge commission on sales which these normally charge for any sort of functionality.

Can anybody let me know, please if there is any sort of similar way of integrating a shoping car for photographs both digital and prints into a website without having to pay silly prices, which I now don't do enough work to justify.

I used to use the Gallery software for many years, and it's still available here: https://galleryrevival.com/

I ran into issues when my hosting company forced an update of PHP to version 8 on me, and I couldn't get my custom theme working again in a short space of time. I believe the standard themes and modules all still work fine.
