Is it a good magazine? full of useful info... or lots of ads?

Its really useful Janice. Like all mags topics can be semi rotated, bu tthe articles are always objective, well written and above all, helplful.

There are a couple of ads, but these amount to about 10% of content rather than 50% which seems to be the accepted norm as a minimum for most other publications.

Also, not that it probably matters too much on here, its equally useful for digital and film

25% is around 5 quids

Pure info Janice minus the usual many many ads. What a relief from the other commercial magazines :)

Also if you are a CanonImagine member http://www.canonimagine.co.uk/ [Free Membership] you get the following EOS Magazine subscription offer as read below:

I get the magazine free as a part of my CPS membership.

My impression is that it is about 50% adds (alot of that is valed as information about EOS cameras), and the magazine as a whole is pretty much useless. This may be more of a reflection on me then the magazine though.

Show me a mag that isnt!

I like it, and it carrys some usefull info and it is written in a very friendly (but the odd "matey" style some mags seem to have taken). Gets a  from me :)

better than your average camera mag for splattering the flies and wasps in the summer, due to its luxury paper thickness  and its worth a read as well.
