I am just going through the settings on my M50 and I cannot see anywhere to turn a highlight warning (blinkies) on. Doesn't the m50 have this option?

Not used one but.....

FWIW the spec indicates that it is somewhere in the Playback Menu settings???

Press Playback button on back of camera than press the menu button.
Click across to the menu 4
halfway down is Highlight Alert .

Just to clarify.........

AFAIK there is as @redsnappa says the menu required is available when you press the "Playback" button i.e. not in the main(?) settings menu.
