Canon has released New Firmware (v1.3.4) for the 5D III.

Not really much need to rush out and install it...

Changes in the Firmware
Firmware Version 1.3.4 incorporates the following fix:

1. Corrects a phenomenon in which when using the camera with the EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM lens, even if lens aberration correction is set to "Enable", correction will not be applied.

Canon released new FW for almost all their bodies today, for the same reason.

If anyone's interested, there is also new firmware for the 5D Mk IV (v1.0.3).
But there is NOT new firmware for the 1DX Mk II, 5DS, 5DS R, 6D, 7D Mk II, 80D or 70D.

(I haven't checked any others because I don't own any others.)
