Hey,
I'm looking to get back into the lovely world of photography once again (second time around now) and, like most people I would imagine, I want to do it on a budget. I'm looking to spend £200-250 on a body, which I know limits me a lot, and then perhaps another £200 on good glass. That's my budget (that hasn't been saved up yet!) and I hope I can make it work for (very) entry level kit.
I've noticed Canon 20Ds and 30Ds are pretty cheap, but I'm worried about their age and whether or not they will offer me a good "service" for at least a year or two. I'm betting they will allow me to get back into the swing of things for now, and they're well within my budget. What do you think? I've also been advised to buy Tolkina lenses. Thoughts on this?
Overall I am looking for something with a good sized sensor (APS-C for example). I am currently using a DSC-H9, but that's what I like to call a "Holiday Camera" (it's actually a Bridge Camera). I've also discovered the negatives of the H9's small censor, but it does have some nice features and will allow me to take decent holiday snaps.
Thanks for reading and I appreciate any and all feed back.
