Entry Level Camera & Lens

Hi there

Can anyone recommend an entry-evel camera and lens for tabletop studio photography?

I want to be shooting graphic design print work such as this;

I have a good flash lighting set up, but at the moment i only have a compact camera (Leica D-Lux4) and i don't think the built in lens will be good enough.

Budget? You want to spend most of it on the lens BTW...
