I have just received an email from RAF Waddington regarding an airshow photo I sent them, no info was included all they wanted was my address and phone number:shrug:

Serious - could you be in line for some paid work with them?
 
If it was going to be bad new, you'd already be lying in the back of a van with plasticuffs on ;)

Its not an exiting shot so I will wait and see why they are interested

Like the photo too, but would have to clone out the lamppost/new fangled strobe :lol: :thumbs:
 
I'm more inclined to think some service jobsworth wants to take action over them apparently drinking on duty in uniform in public.
 
This happened to me a few years ago Pete. I've had to move house and change my name 4 times so far and they still keep finding me. :eek::help:

They probably want to know if the shot is genuine because they are doing an enquiry into staff drinking on duty. May want the original file to be able to zoom in.
I do hope its not for that and its just to ask for permission to use it. You may get some squadron freebies through the post also. Usually patch bages etc.

No need! There are plenty of old mineshafts around Skunny!! :D
Send them a letter back (without your contact details) and ask them 'why'? :shrug:
 
They probably want to tell you that it's subject to some official secrets act,
and not to publish it on the web, under pain of death :shrug: :D

Your all way off - they need it for evidence in the compo claim from the bloke who's had all his hair sucked into the engine!!

I havent heard anything more from them ...........yet, and no strange blokes in shades and black suits have been seen at all
 
I do like the image. Cropped as a Panoramic shot, just above the number on the tail it has all the hallmarks of the classic New York shot of the workmen eating lunch on the girder numerous floors up! Which can't be bad ;) :thumbs:

You should live in my neck of woods,Farnborough air show on this year and cant wait,pretty cool seeing red arrows out your window,we got free tickets on last show,hope its the same this year:) mind you last time most of my shoots had just tails of plans as moved so fast:shake: was only with compact at the time so this year iv got fingers crossed for better:lol:

Me too,in fact was trying to get sunset shots from the swan looking up runway lights this saturday,got some great shots of chain link fence:( as was dark too busy looking further afield not what was right in front of me:lol: NUMPTY:help:
