entire photographic collection stolen - please help

hi everybody,
my name is Marco, I'm from Italy and I moved to London with my girlfriend just last thursday.
I've just registered to this forum just to try if you guys could help me in any way.. on the 29th of december all of my photografic gears and other stuff were stolen here where we are staying..

we are staying at my sister's house while she is back to italy for christmas and the 29th of December night coming back home we found a broken window and all of the flat was upside down.. the only things missing were my sisters laptop and my photographic backpack with almost everything I had inside..

unfortunately the following things are gone:

- 1 Nikon d3100 (my girlfriends camera)
- 1 brand new sigma 17-70 f2.8-4 for Nikon
- 1 samyang fisheye 8mm 3.5 for Nikon
- 1 samyang 85mm f 1.4 for Canon
- 1 flash Canon speedlite 430EX
- 1 flash Nissin Di866 mark II for Canon
- 4X flash triggers by Yongnuo model YN-622C
- the backpack itself - it was a Case Logic DSLR-206 backpack
- 1 Asus laptop (I don't remember the model as it was my sisters computer.. anyways it was 4 or 5 years old.. the point is not the laptop but the amount of important stuff -job's documents, etc. - there were in there)
- other minor stuff like a lomo fisheye, a flash soft diffuser, a canon 5dmkIII strap, a led lamp, a 4gb SD memory and few AA batteries for the flashes and triggers..

so, all of that stuff was stolen near Homerton station in Hackney, Greater London.

if you guys note anything related to the above, maybe in this or other forum's shops or even e-bay, please contact me immediately

sorry to hear this....

have you distributed lists of items around the localish cash convertor type shops?? i would just incase someone tries to cash in on the items etc.

hope you can get your stuff back, although sadly its unlikely, but good luck anyway!!

yes we did, but they did not find any important evidence like fingerprints.. the thief must have had gloves on..

we will surely check a couple of pawn shops we saw around here.. but we are not that much optimistic to find anything there..
 
Welcome to the forum, if under such rubbish circumstances...

Do you happen to know the serial number if the laptop from purchase documents, receipts etc? Could help if you see one in eBay, gumtree, pawn shop.
