I am getting peeved of with Asda saying theirs is better or Heinz bringing out a mustard thats better than Colmans

COLMANS IS BRITISH AND WILL ALWAYS BE BRITISH MUSTARD

why do the others like heinz and such put vinegar in it....if i wanted that I would buy AMERICAN MUSTARD

rant over:lol:

I love Colmans English Mustard, chillis and wasabi (is wasabi a swear word in this thread :shake:). Mustard's good in mac cheese.

Couldn't have them all in a sandwich though

Mustard's good when spread on toasted squirrel meat

Mustard gas, however, is best avoided.

forget the french brown stuff or the American maionaiseey stuff I am taliking real throat biting English Mustard that makes your nose run and your eyes weep

Right...so we are talking about mustard gas then?

:D
Kidding, I'm with you, the only mustard worth bothering with is real English mustard.

Missus thought she was saving 3p so bought Asdas own ....twas french(ish) so next bought Heinz ....must be German so I went out and got some ...colmans at last

Never let the missus buy the important stuff. I asked her to pick me up a sixer...ans she came home with Fosters :gag:

Sadly not. I gave her a playful cuff and all is well. She tried again and got me Grolsch.

Note: I didn't actuall cuff her before I have the PC brigade beating me with sticks :D

Colemans for me..........

English Mustard can only be COLMANS hot tangy and sorts out your colds COLMANS

So this place would be mustard heaven for you then DM? There used to be a real character in there selling the products when I had business dealings with Colmans 12-15 years ago (in the main factory) but he may have retired by now. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

mustard tastes like :puke:

Just make sure you get the proper stuff from the tin and add the desired amount of water. They add vinegar to the jar variety.

They are having all sorts of meetings about the Mustard Shop at the moment, I work on the Colmans Site for Robinsons (We used to be one Company but got split when we got sold) The way I understand it is, at the moment the shop will stay open. There was a a big campain in the EDP to keep it open as well.

They're threatening to close The Mustard Shop :(

Out of the tin and mix with water - the only proper mustard in the world. Add a serving of homemade horseradish and some very slow roasted bone-in brisket of beef and you've got food fit for a king.
