Ok just watched news about switching energy suppliers, its bloody confusing. Not for the first time I done a check with simplyswitch, have used other sites previously with same result.
So entered I was paying monthly £50 gas and £50 electric with sse, result save £195 per year with sainsburys, so that has to be the best deal :) repeated process again but this time entering sainsburys as my supplier surely it wont be cheaper, it now states I can get cheaper extraenergy £212................so why did it not give me that result first time around when I entered my current supplier

I must be missing something :help:
 
When you tell it how much you spend and with whom, it works out how much gas/electric you use and then compares that.

Since Sainsburys is cheaper than your current supplier, the second time you ran it you had increased your consumption.

Best plan is to use the comparison amount they put on bills.

Thanks Jonathan got it now when redoing I needed to reflect the savings already stated by sainsburys :oops: :$
