Has anyone used the Sanyo Eneloop XX batteries yet, and are they worth the extra over the ordinarry ones?

I am due some new batched for speedlight and led panels.

Can't help with the eneloop xx but as an eneloop fan I am interested. Could use them to power my 'bat light' for night running/ice climbing etc:D.
I'm happy enough with the performance in my flash of the original 2nd gen but I don't use that often.

Found this link- seem to get the thumbs up even with a lower recycle rating.

I will add a 2nd vote for this charger, I have had one for a couple of years now and it is brilliant. When you get used to being able to just chuck batteries in without having to worry about keeping them in pairs that have discharged at the same rate.......

and if you have Playstation guitars or other device that use 3 batteries it certainly makes your life easier.

Ive just ordered a video light which annoyingly takes 5 batteries, so that's the logic there......

That's just typical:lol:

Nevermind, at least you can charge a load and they'll hold their charge a long time when not in use. Should minimise the risk of expletives being caught one short:D

Sounds good, cheers.

I'm going to give them a go. Just orderd 12 of them from 7dayshop, and also treated myself to a new charger to look after them.

The technoline charger is fantastic, I have had one for nearly three years and not had a single failed battery since. Expensive but the condition batteries setting makes it worthwhile if you use lots of battery devices.

I have also found the 7 Day Shop own brand "Good to Go" are equally as good as the Eneloop and considerably cheaper. They have proven to be the perfect power source for my Canon 580EX II and can sit in my bag for months and still work when I need them.
