I have a Nikon grip on my D300 and was thinking about using EN-EL4 batteries can I use one of the end caps that came with the grip or do I have to buy an end cap as well as the new battery.

i'm not sure but if the end cap has two squarish holes in it then thats where the battery hooks in so i'd imagine so

You need to buy a Nikon BL-3 Adapter to take the EN-EL4 Batteries Just done a Google search and they're about £26 maybe less on fleabay. Hope this helps?

yes, it works great.

So do the knockoff EN-EL4's and the chinese charger (£25 on ebay for the charger, £13 -> 20 for the batteries).

You need the BL-3, linkdelight on ebay do them cheap.

bl-3 adapter is £19 at greysofwestminster.

third party battries will not work in my grip with the d300s get the 4a version higher power around 2800 shots from a charge.

greys have a special on these at the moment as well £195 for the charger and battrey.
