EMI K 35

Hi. Just got an emi k 35 camera , in vgc but when you wind it on you have to depress the shutter release button just a wee bit before the advance lever will cock the camera . How difficult is the top plate to remove ?. Very solid built camera. Regards Stewart

Even if it is easy to get the plate off,it's getting it back on and all the little screws and springs back where they belong

It's a chance you take ,was it a dear purchase,does it urk you that much that you take the chance of breaking it completely:shrug:

Not many would take the chance.

Hi got it fixed take off the bottom plate, there are 3 brass cogs, one for the advance one for the take up, one in the middle connects them , it was out of alignment moved it 2 notches alls well now , camera cost me £10. From a local seller, no ebay fees or extortionate postal costs. Stewart

Paid £10 then worth chancing and good result had
I have taken covers off in the past to have a million small parts drop out
