I have just recieved the following email on my website:

Hi

I am thinking of getting married at Gretna Green, the Anvil Church, just after the Christmas and New Year Period.

My Girlfriend is slimming for her big day, but just incase she doesn't manage her target weight of 16 stone, could you bring a wide angled lens in your gear.

Must admit it's the first p*ss take email I've had in a year and a half. Anyone here get many of these and how do you deal with them? My first instinct is to just ignore it.

I don't even do weddings!

Of course, it could be someone here having a larf!

Just had another thought. I've never heard anyone other that photographers refer to camera equipment as "gear"

I think 90% of the people here probably use it, so not a good basis for investigation then.
