I use hotmail for my email address.
I have Outlook on my android phone and use the default email on my macbook Pro.
Yesterday I logged onto live.com and changed my password.
My android email worked fine after I input the new password, but it wouldn't work on my macbook.
The macbook email is done through exchange as far as I can see, but when I enter my new password it says its incorrect.
After trying a few times unsuccessfully I tried logging into live.com on my macbook and it said the password was incorrect.
I tried changing it on live.com on my macbook.
When changing the password it sends a code to my phone, which I input to prove it's me.
Last night it said I'd requested too many codes and to try again today.
After waiting 24 hours I changed it again on my phone and it worked, but macbook wouldn't work.
I tried live.com again on my macbook and it said password was incorrect, so I tried changing it using live.com on my macbook and got the same requested too many codes message.
Any idea why the new password works on outlook on my phone but not in exchange on my mac?
