EM5ii Battery Stuck

Just opened up the door to take the battery out to charge and it won't come out. The small silver clip that holds the battery in isn't budging... Pushing the battery down as usual doesnt seem to do anything.

Any ideas, had the door off, tried prying the silver bit up gently but nothing...

On more thought, I did drop it on this edge the other day, so i guess it's due to this. Can anyone show what the silver bit is meant to do?

well its meant to hold the battery in place, but just reading your 1st post you say prying up. its not up but away from the battery its supposed to move. turn upside down and push clip away from battery, towards front of camera.

Thank you!! Managed to get the battery out, seems as though the small clip has broken further down so it moves up and down as well as the side to side.

Thanks for the help, at least I can still use it for now till i get it sorted.
 
fingers crossed it doesnt cost to much
 
That retain clip is shown as being bent as it should paralell to the baseplate. Though being broken further is not going to help with that.

Are you sending it to Oly or are you thinking about Luton cameras
