EM-1 and Nikonos-V - using Film

A few years ago, I came across some film gear - the photos I took at the time weren't very good but it gives you an idea.

Now I'm thinking about using the EM-1 for some street photography, just to try it out. Found a useful online manual

It seems like I should probably need to order a battery for the meter ?

I had one for a while, lovely and simple to use basically a rangefinder as per the details in the front of the lens.
The 35mm lens is the on to have as its suitable for land use as well as under the water. I bought one to take diving as an experiment but I decided to move it on to finance my F2

If you're any good with a soldering iron (or know someone who is) you can modify the OM to take silver oxide cells. It just needs a schottky diode or a germanium diode in line with the cell connection to drop the voltage a little bit.

wasn't going to try to the nikonos, wasn't sure if it was really worth it.

No good with soldering either.
