About 1500 turned up, takes about 6 weeks to confirm. The parade had strict rules to follow to make it official, mainly the gaps between each row of cars passing the officials had to be no greater than 2 cars.

Unfortunately we couldn't make this - we were due to have a trade stand at Elvington as my business is tuning & racing MX5's.

It was a good effort at Elvington.

It was a good effort at Elvington.

I think the organisers underestimated the numbers because of the free entry for the record attempt, quite a few commented on lack of traders and queues toilets and refreshments. I came up early with a Doncaster facebook group so I'm far left forth row from the front
