Hey guys,

I know this has been asked before but I've never really found many answers.

I recently bought a D-Lite 4 IT kit which I'm very happy with but am likely to upgrade my softboxes to a larger Octabox and/or Strip Light. This will leave me with the two Portalite softboxes from the kit and rather than them gathering dust in the cupboard I thought I'd use them alongside my 3 Canon speedlites. This will help out when 3 head setups are required and will give better options when using flash outside when no mains power available.

I therefor need to some way of attaching my soft boxed to my speedlites and putting them on a stand.

Does anyone have either of these or are there any alternatives?

Any suggestions or comments greatly appreciated.

Either of the fleabay ones should do the trick. Bad photos and bad descriptions mean that it's very hard to see how well they're made.

You would have many more choices if you'd bought into the Bowens/Lencarta S fitting instead

I did look long and hard at Lencarta and most likely would have gone for an Elite Pro set but a nearly new complete D-Lite 4 IT kit came available for £350 which was just too good to pass up.

Think I'll have to bite the bullet and take my chances with one of the fleabay ones.

Yes, you can always send it back if it turns out to be made from recycled baked bean tins or plastic:)

I just find it annoying when sellers can't be bothered to give proper info about their products, and prefer not to give them my business - but that's just me, I'm an awkward ******* gentleman
 
I'd prefer not to give them business either but they seem to be the only ones who want it!! :-)

No I still haven't got round to buying one. The link in my OP will take you to a current eBay listing.

Thanks Ray. Appreciate your help.

I couldn't find any current listing, but emailed one of the sellers in your links. He said he didn't sell them anymore and had no plans to restock.

I managed to bodge it in the end, which actually worked okay for the one particular task I needed it for.
