Howdy,

Can someone with practical experience of these puppies please give me the lowdown. I have read some promising bits and pices on the intarweb but just want some more information from anyone that has had the pleasure.

They seem very portable which is a bonus and the overall size of the kit looks fab for location work.

Not sure I get the difference between the 'a' and 's' versions though.

I would also be interested to know that those who perhaps were using speedlights before - did you keep them or sell them - anything you miss about them over this sort of arrangement?

Just bought mine yesterday Paul so will update you as I go if that helps.

In answer to you question the only difference between the a and the s models is the flash duration is faster with the a kit. Something like 1/6000 sec iirc. Great if you're freezing action. It's about £70 more for the a kit over the s kit.

I have not used my speedlights since i got the quadra's so I sold my ex's and got EZ's

The A Head have a faster flash duration, The S Head bulbs apparently last longer and are a bit cheaper.

It is a great bit of kit.
