Yes, in practical terms.
J (Joules) is technically correct
Ws is exactly the same thing and our American cousins use it instead of english
W/s or W-S are also used, although as I say flash energy should be expressed as J or Ws

power times time is energy so watts x seconds=joules

watts per second isn't a unit off the top of my head
