Elinchrom D-Lite 2 intermittant firing

Hi folks
I have a pair of D-Lite 2 heads. One of which has started to mis fire. Yesterday on a shoot one head refused to fire on low power. The head would 'pop' and the sounder would go off but unless i cranked the power up to 4 or 5 the main tube would not fire.

Is this a sign that the tube is on its way out?
