Further to my other thread which seems to have stalled, is there an adjust->colour balance in Elements?
I am trying to give a foreground a warmer tone to match a sky but can't see a colour balance adjustment.

Thanks

There is...but I can't remember where it is off the top of my head. It's in the menu along with the Colour/Saturation options if that helps!

I cant find it!:bang:

All I can see are
Adjust lighting->shadows/Highlights..
->Brightness/contrast..
->Levels..

Adjust color ->remove Color Cast
->Adjust hue/saturation..
->Remove Colour...
->Adjust colour curves..
->Adjust colour for skin tone
->color variations

Gaaaah!

Appreciate the help though!

You can pretty well use hue and sat to do the same thing by targeting colours using the eyedropper tool.

Also if you use it as a adjustment layer you can you remove it from parts of the image you do not want it be by painting black on the layer mask, in your case the sky.:)

You could warm the whole pic by opening it as RAW and shoving the colour temp slider a bit to the right.

And then, if you want, save this as a separate image, superimpose over the original, add a black layer mask, and paint in the bits you want warmer.

To match the foreground colour to the sky I would use a coloured gradient.
Copy the background layer then create a new blank layer, set the mode to Overlay - that's a sort of contrast blend.
Select the Gradient tool then hold down the Alt key and click on the tone in the sky which you want to mirror, that will set that colour as the foreground colour.
In the gradient picker select the 2nd gradient - Foreground to Transparent.
Click and drag a gradient from th bottom of the picture up into the foreground, (if you hold down shift as you click and drag you will get a vertical line).
You can adjust the opacity of the layer if you want or try some other blend modes for different effects.

A few good ideas there, thanks.
I'll try Kevs idea first, seems the less fiddly option!
