Just got this today, a couple of questions!

Can I import raw files directly into it from my memory card from my Canon 550D?
Also, can you recommend a user guide that is not to complicated.

Yes you should be able to import directly from card and I download a user guide will find the link in a bit I'm on my iPod touch at the moment

From your Organizer loaded go to file-> get photos,video -> from camera or card reader.
Then just choose device and bingo !
