Elements 9 will not load.

I have just had delivered a brand new PSE9.

I put the disc in the disc drive D and zilch nothing happens, no auto start nothing.

Looking in Explorer there is no disc in Drive D.
Drive D does not recognise the disc.

I put another disc in and it auto starts straight away.

The operating system is XP SP2 and the PSE9 disc is compatible.

Is the PSE9 disc faulty or am I missing something.

It would appear that I need a DVD drive and not a CD one.

Can someone confirm this please.
