elements 9 message

Hi, I'm using a trial version of elements 9, opening jpegs that were taken on a 30d, I keep seeing this message,
"The embedded icc profile cannot be used because the icc profile description is invalid. Ignoring the profile. With a continue and cancel .

Can anyone tell me what this means?

Can anyone tell me what this means?

Your camera and your PS Elements are using different profiles and the profile warning box has been ticked on in elements colour prefrences.
Either use the same colour profile on the camera, or just untick the warning reminder box.
Edit>colour settings>mismatch warnings*

May vary slightly for Elements.
