Been given Photoshop Elements 6 by a relative.

Is it a good program? I know there are newer versions out just wondering what you people think? Ta
 
It should do most of the things needed for image editing, the newer models mostly make things easier and have extra features. The only issue you may have is if you shoot raw files, any newer cameras probably won't be supported as Adobe stop support once a new version of photoshop is released, the work around is to use the free DNG converter, it means another step but it's easy and quick enough.
