Elements 5 & Vista

Hey guys,

Bit of a problem with elements, wondering if any of you can offer any advice/suggestions...

When I plug my camera into my laptop, the Elements photo organiser won't recognise any of my RAW images, just the JPEG's. I swear it used to work fine when I had XP, but its never worked on my new laptop which runs Vista. I've updated my software, but it hasn't made a difference.

Anyone else experienced this at all?

I am running Vista on this laptop with Elements 5 and had to add the Raw Convertor for my camera to deal with the RAWs and i can open the pictures in the Organiser to preview them then right click and full edit and it initially opens the Raw Convertor then when you open the image the Full Edit so seems to work fine for me....

Sorry - just read my post again and I wasn't quite asking the right question!

Its the downloader that won't recognise RAW images when I plug my camera in to download them. At the moment I have to import them using word into a watched folder, elements recognises the RAW stuff fine then, but not directly from the camera...

I'm using Elements 5 and Vista64 without any problems, however I'm using a card reader not the Camera lead.

It may be a Camera / Adobe driver problem

I can either access them in Raw through the watched folder or open them directly from an alternative folder i put them in using elements and it opens them up in the converter then full edit....not sure i even try reading them any other way
