On black friday for sub £30 atm.
I currently have version 7. £30 for the full version is cheaper than buying the upgrade version of 10

If I buy the non "upgrade" version,i.e. the full version one on amazon, and install it, will it still "remember" all the tags and stuff Ive used in the organiser?

Also is it worth going from 7 to 10?

I wonder if it supports 64bit Windows 7?

Got my 10 from PCW for £29.99 and other than 'gimmick' I can't see a lot extra, anyone find anything outstanding?
 
Personally, I only play with photoshop and have only had CS2 ... the quick selection tool is a huge step for me :D

for me main reasons will be layer masks now available - dont have to "fiddle" them.

Also a photomerge HDR thing I think. Alongside scene cleaner and panorama jobby.
 
If you were upgrading from version 9 I'd say no, but the leap from 7 to 10 should be very noticeable - and at a great price:thumbs:
 
OK. You've just talked me into buying E10!

Should be an improvement as the best I have is E4, but I prefer 2! :gag:
 
HDR is on CS5, I don't see it on Elements 10

Anything under:
file -> New -> Photomerge® ....

On 7 I get: Group shot, Faces, Scene cleaner and panorama

EDIT: I think its called photomerge exposure from elements 8 onwards

Layer Masks are among the most useful tools there are in editing. Worth getting for that alone, I'd say. You also get Content Aware Fill which is pretty impressive when it works.

What the hell are you waiting for?? :p

You can fiddle layer masks fairly easily in 7 but it will be nice not to have to I guess.

Lightroom was on Monday and Tuesday at £140ish,:shrug:

At £30 it would be rude not to purchase elements! :thumbs:

for £100 i'd rather pay the extra £20 and buy new so i could take it back if req to be honest;)

but then i know kerso does it for £130 and i think maybe an extra tenner to support a small trader is money well spent.:shrug:

Oh yes thank you for that link, but its only the 1 license pack, I would rather have the no limit version.
 
You wont get a no limit version for £30, i didnt think you could get such a thing for PSE :(
but this is still a bargain.

Having just tested the Adobe raw convertor against Canons, my preference is to use Adobes. See the thread "DPP vs Lightroom 3" in this forum if you want more in depth info.
